Here's another free file for you, just uploaded to Thingiverse.
I wanted some awesome looking scenic base for my new Eldar Wraithknight, and it needed to have a little height to it - he'll be jumping off it at high speed. So the options were a ruined building, tank or an imperial knight. I couldn't resist a wrecked knight!!
£ Some very talented people have already produced some amazingly detailed files for this model, so I reassembled the various parts, gave it a slight tilt and sliced it apart. This is what it looked like!
£ After a first print failed in a few places, I added in a few more rocks to act as internal support, and then decided to add the ultimate bit of battle damage - an engine kill!!!
Probably the result of a perfect head shot with a d-cannon, perhaps? So the knight crashed to the ground, and the pilot abandoned it mid-battle. I'm planning on painting up that big hole as with hot edges sparking away, like the famous effect in the Terminator movies.
£ The shoulder can be printed separately and glued on afterwards, or left off to show the inner arm chassis. I also made a quick battle damaged version for this, too.
£ Lastly, I wanted a half-empty carapace weapon, to go on the back... or be in the process of being squashed by the heavy tread of a wraithknight. SOOOOO looking forward to painting this up!
