My samurai collection is growing quite fast now, and since these models are mounted on clear bases they don't have the normal magnets I glue on the bottom. So to help with storage, I designed this simple interlocking tray, which is now available for free download on Thingiverse:

£ It holds 16 models, and uses minimal plastic. Although the size is fairly compact, you'll need a printer capable of 140mm x 116mm to print this.
£ In addition to holes on the underside for 5mm rare earth magnets, each side has a small locking piece. You can print multiple trays and join them firmly together in all four directions....
