After much messing around with the roof, the first High Elf House 3D model is complete, and ready for test printing! .... but... I'm still waiting for the 3D printer to arrive :(
The tricky part has been cutting the entire building up into printer-friendly 12cm chunks, and still hiding the join lines as much as possible. The roof, for example, is printed into 3 parts, but in very sneaky ways.
A close up of the detailing. Very much looking forward to seeing the print detail on the runic script, windows and doors.
Stay tuned for more soon, with lots of final 3D model pics. Then, it's on to printing and painting!
