We're steaming ahead this month, with the latest design from the Necrontyr terrain range coming off the printers - the Warp Portal!
What began as a fairly simple design, essentially a coffin with a disc on top, has become this awesome 21-piece terrain kit. There are 12 separate pieces for the portal ring, for example, carefully designed and sliced to get the best possible prints from your machines.
£ These are the kit contents, with both of the disc options. One version is a flat 120mm disc, which you could paint OR print in clear filament OR just stick on the supplied images (6 colours).
The second version has a ripple design, and will require two copies to be printed, then placed back to back to give a fully 3D effect.
£ This is the completed warp portal with the ripple disc. You don't actually need to glue the top of the portal ring in place (it's held by sturdy pegs), so you can also swap discs as you need to!
The small Necrontyr symbol at the top of the ring is also optional. You could leave it off, or even have two - front and back.
£ Finally, for today, here's our official printed "kit contents" photo. These parts were all printed at 0.1mm layers, by the way, and have been sprayed light grey for this photo.
