Painting terrain models

3D printed terrain models respond really well to a thick coat of matt-finish spray undercoat paint.

Drybrushing is also a very good technique to use, as it quickly picks up printed edges and covers large areas.

We recommend using acrylic paints with your terrain models. Happy painting!

Here is an example of a quick and simple paintjob on our Necrontyr terrain:

1. Matt black spray undercoat
2. Light drybrush in dark silver
3. Gold for the engraved cartouche section
4. Brown wash for the cartouche section
